In a bid to boost employers trust in recruitment, profiling and other security checks, an identity verification product app named “Identigo” has been launched in Lagos.
At the unveiling of the brand at Lekki, Identigo Executive Director, Ms Olabusayo Soetan, said the app is to rebuild trust, strengthen security and support decision making across the nation.

While noting the many challenges Nigerians encountered from domestic help with unknown verification, Ms Soetan said the app will assist individuals, private organizations, schools and government verify their employees, certificates, land documents among others to serve as preventive security rather than curative security.
“Identigo was born out of a simple but urgent realization: people and organizations need to know who they’re dealing with before they make critical decisions”. Soetan said

Explaining how the app works, the National Coordinator of the Brand, Mr Abdulqowyyi Busari, said the app is available on playstore on Android phones and app store on i-phones with a call on Nigerians to embrace the development to avoid falling into scammers web, maintaining that Identigo’s brand presence cut across key sectors showcasing bespoke solutions like background checks, education verification, financial assessment, land verification, and employee profiling all tailored to the African business context.
