IGP Redeploys Police Spokesperson Adejobi to Delta as New DCP

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun, has redeployed the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), Muyiwa Adejobi, to the Delta State Command.

Adejobi will now serve as the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in charge of operations in Delta, following his recent promotion from Assistant Commissioner of Police.

The announcement was made in a statement issued by Adejobi on Wednesday, where he confirmed that arrangements are underway for the appointment of a new Force spokesperson.

Commending Adejobi’s service, the IGP praised his professionalism, dedication, and significant contributions to strengthening the image and communication strategies of the Nigeria Police Force.

“The IGP expressed confidence that he will bring the same level of excellence and commitment to his new assignment in Delta State,” the statement read.

Adejobi, who has served as the face and voice of the Force in recent years, is expected to leverage his experience in his new operational role.
