India-Bound Passenger Excretes, Vomits 80 Wraps of Cocaine

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA have made a significant bust at Terminal 2 of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, apprehending a suspected drug trafficker, Freeman Charles Ogbonna, bound for Delhi, India.

Despite carrying a Liberian passport under the name Carr Bismark, a body scan revealed his true identity and his ingestion of 80 cocaine wraps.

According to a statement by the NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, under observation, Ogbonna began expelling the drugs, totaling 889 grams, over four days.

He confessed to being lured into drug trafficking for a promised reward of N300,000.

Similarly, on April 3rd, NDLEA officers intercepted Imran Taofeek Olalekan at MMIA, Lagos Terminal 1, destined for Oman.

Upon search, concealed drugs were found in his luggage and backpack.

Ishola Isiaka Olalekan, who accompanied Imran, was identified as the recruiter.

Imran, promised N1,500,000 for the delivery, confessed to using charms procured from an ‘Alfa’ in Ibadan to evade detection.

Ishola, who paid N200,000, was also found with charms.
