Some youths in Itire-Ikate LCDA, under the aegis of National Youth Council of Nigeria, have commended the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila for the establishment of an Agricultural Training Center in the area.
Coordinator, of the group, Comrade Ayodele Oshodi, in a chat with our nan acknowledged the efforts and commitment of the lawmaker in encouraging the involvement of more youths in Agriculture.
While extolling the project, Comrade Oshodi noted that Agriculture had become an attractive profession for young people, as it is transforming into a much more profitable venture
“The training centre will help our youths who want to go into farming, to get the required knowledge and become a twenty-first century farmer. We all know how Agriculture is fast becoming a profitable business among the youths. It is a very good initiative by the Speaker.

The Youth leader who said the new training centre promotes the use of innovative technologies, improvement in input supply, and network, stated that the Centre will help young people in the area become self-reliant by generating employment for themselves and for other Nigerians.
Comrade Oshodi expressed appreciation for the foresight of the Speaker, Mr. Femi Gbajabiamila in building capacity of the teeming youths in the area, in skill acquisition and innovation, to complement existing initiatives geared towards accelerating socio-economic transformation of the country.
The The Agriculture Training Centre, in Odo-Olowu area of Ijeshatedo was recently inaugurated by the Speaker.
