More than 300 students of Ikeja Senior Grammar School and Ikeja Junior Grammar School in Bolade, Oshodi, Lagos, have benefited from an educational outreach by Jedidiah Divine Home of Love, a non-governmental organisation supporting widows and the less privileged.
During the outreach, students received essential learning materials including exercise books, school bags and stockings, while ten students had their 2026 NECO examination fees fully paid.
The organisation also donated a suggestion box and a notice board to the school, in a move aimed at improving communication and student engagement.
School authorities and beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the gesture, describing it as timely amid rising costs of education.
Speaking at the event, the founder of the organisation, Dr. Ebele Okoye, said the initiative was driven by a commitment to ease the burden on families and uplift vulnerable members of society.
She emphasized, that the outreach reflects her long-standing mission to give back and support those in need.
The event also featured prayers and career talks to inspire the students.
