Lagos Assembly Majority Leader Becomes Otun-Oba of Ogombo

The Majority Leader of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Noheem Adams has been conferred with the chieftaincy title of Otun-Oba of Ogombo Kingdom in Eti-Osa Council area of Lagos State.

His coronation followed his unanimous adoption by the Dada Omolara Ruling House for him to represent the family in the palace.

The ceremony was part of activities marking the first anniversary of the coronation of Oba Abiodun Muslim Ogunbo as the Ogudu–Oshadi of Ogombo Kingdom.

Oba Ogunbo prayed for the new Otun-Oba, saying that he had contributed to the growth and development of Ogombo Kingdom even before he became a member of the State Assembly.

Reacting to his conferment of the traditional title, Hon. Adams said he had enjoyed tremendous support of the traditional ruler since his childhood days unknown to him that he would become king and he would be one of his chiefs.

The Lagos Assembly Majority Leader prayed Oba Ogunbo’s peaceful reign and longevity on the throne.
