The Lagos State Central Business Districts Office says it arrested and prosecuted 859 offenders across the Lagos Island and Ikeja business districts within the past one year.
The Special Adviser to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Central Business Districts, Mrs Bola Olumegbon-Lawal, disclosed this at the 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing held in Ikeja.
She said the offenders included tricycle operators arrested for traffic violations, illegal parking and one-way driving offences within designated business corridors.
Olumegbon-Lawal also revealed that seven officials of the agency were suspended for misconduct and insubordination during the review period.
She said the agency had intensified enforcement and environmental sanitation operations across major commercial areas to restore order and improve the business environment, adding that enforcement would continue across Lagos business districts.
