Lagos Pilgrims Complete Holy Land Journey as Second Batch Sets for Departure

The first batch of 2025 Lagos pilgrims have touched down at Murtala Muhammed International Airport today at about 5:18 p.m., marking the safe conclusion of their spiritual journey to Israel and Jordan.

Upon Arrival, the returnees were greeted by officials from the Lagos State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.

The Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC, Bishop Stephen Adegbite, praised the group for their discipline and for representing Nigeria with dignity.

The pilgrims expressed gratitude for the smooth logistics, safe travel and the spiritual renewal they experienced, and they pledged to share the lessons of faith, peace and unity with their communities back home.

Their return sets the stage for the second batch, scheduled to depart on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, for a similar 10‑day pilgrimage.
