Lagos Trains 350 Quality Assurance Officials Ahead of School Resumption

With schools in Lagos set to resume next week, the state government has trained 350 quality assurance officials to strengthen monitoring and ensure strict compliance with educational standards.

Speaking at the flag-off of a four-day training workshop organized by the Office of Education Quality Assurance (OEQA), the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Jamiu Alli-Balogun, underscored the importance of professionalism in the discharge of duties.

He urged the officers to be firm, objective, and courteous in their engagement with school owners and administrators, stressing that they should act as progressive partners in upholding educational standards across the state.

Also addressing the participants, the Coordinating Director of OEQA, Mr. Remi Abdul, emphasized that professionalism and integrity must remain the guiding principles for effective quality assurance operations.
