Inter Milan have decided to freeze negotiations with Atalanta for the transfer of want away Nigeria international Ademola Lookman.
This is after Atalanta’s refusal to accept the offer of 40 million euros plus bonus for the 28 year old forward.
In the absence of Lookman’s arrival, Inter are preparing an alternative plan to sign players like Sancho or Frendrup.
However, Inter hope to make a relaunch for the current African Player Of The Year, if Lookman could resolve differences with Atalanta.
Lookman left Atalanta’s training camp in Portugal as negotiations for his release stalled, a move that could attract fines from the club.
The AFCON 2023 silver medalist, currently training alone in England, has already agreed a five year deal with Inter, worth €4.5 million Euros per year.
