Officers of the Lagos State Neighbourhood Safety Corps on Wednesday, apprehended a vandal who was removing solar road markers on the newly constructed Third Mainland Bridge.
Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media, Mr Jubril Gawat made this known to newsmen at Alausa.
A solar road marker is a low-maintenance, solar-powered LED light device that is embedded in the road surface to indicate the direction of a road and mark road edges and centrelines.
Mr Gawat identified the suspect as Mr. Friday Nwafor, aged forty-six.
According to Mr Gawat, the suspect has been handed over to the Commissioner of Police, Lagos Command, Mr. Adegoke Fayoade.
