Musa Gude, member representing Uke/Karshi constituency in the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has appointed 106 aides as part of efforts to strengthen service delivery and uplift families within his constituency.
Speaking in Lafia on Tuesday, the Social Democratic Party (SDP) lawmaker said the initiative was aimed at both supporting his legislative duties and providing a source of livelihood for residents.
“I have 106 aides on my payroll, including special and personal assistants. Some of them receive N100,000, N80,000, N50,000, N30,000, N20,000, and N10,000 respectively,” he disclosed.
Gude explained that beyond job creation, he has supported community development projects such as providing boreholes and paying Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE) fees for many students.
He added that his interventions also cut across health, education, agriculture, and infrastructure.
The lawmaker assured his constituents of continued inclusive representation and urged them to embrace unity, peace, and tolerance for the overall progress of the area.
