NATOP, Lagos Unveils Nigeria’s Cultural Powerhouse Abroad

Nigeria’s cultural and tourism treasures will take centre stage at the Africa Market Place in Dubai as the Nigeria Association of Tour Operators (NATOP) partners with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture to showcase the nation’s vibrant heritage from November 12 to 15, 2025.

The fast-rising tourism trade exhibition will feature a rich array of Nigerian music, fashion, food, destinations, and cultural experiences designed to offer global investors and visitors an authentic taste of the country’s dynamic tourism identity.

Beyond promoting attractions, the collaboration aims to reshape global perceptions about Nigeria’s safety, hospitality, and travel experience, strengthening investor confidence in its creative and tourism sectors.

Lagos, under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s leadership, continues to maintain its position as Nigeria’s tourism capital, hosting world-class events and advancing its Tourism Master Plan to boost both domestic and foreign investment.

The Africa Market Place, curated by the Ibukun Awosika Leadership Academy, is expected to spotlight more than 250,000 African and Caribbean cultural and tourism products across fashion, food, culture, beauty, and technology, offering unmatched global exposure.

NATOP President Bolaji Mustapha, who will lead the Nigerian delegation, said the partnership represents more than marketing; it signals a renewed commitment to portraying Nigeria’s true image and highlighting the immense potential of its destinations to the world, while appreciating Lagos State’s support in elevating the nation’s cultural narrative.
