Public Servant: Call To Service – Ike Okere. By Shuaib Onabanjo

Those in Public Service should do their best in contributing to the development of the organizations they found themselves.

The Director of National Broadcast Academy, Sogunle -Lagos, Mr Ike Okere, stated this at the retirement and sixtieth birthday ceremony in honour of the immediate past Head of Engineering Department of the Academy, Mr Mustafa Omobolade Oduola.

Mr Okere stated that many joined the Service just for job security, while others joined the service for selfish interest, but Mr Omobolade Oduola is in the category of those who joined the Service to serve their father’s land.

He paid glowing tributes to the Celeberant for his numerous contributions to the growth of FRCN, both at the Headquarters, Lagos Operations and the National Broadcast Academy.

In their various tributes, colleagues, family and friends of Mr Omobolade Oduola, described him as patriotic, selfless and a good fellow.

The occassion was graced by the Registrar of the Academy, Alhaja Adedeji, Head of Journalism Department, Mr Ayodele Aliu the GM of Bond FM, Princess Adenike Adegoke, members of the FRCN family, families and friends of the retiree.
