NCAA, NCAT join forces to bridge aviation training gaps

In a move to address training gaps and generate revenue in the aviation industry, the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) is set to partner with the Nigeria College of Aviation Technology (NCAT).

The partnership aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of aviation professionals, ensuring compliance with international standards and regulations.

The collaboration was discussed during a courtesy visit to the Director General of Civil Aviation, Captain Chris Najomo, by the management of NCAT led by the Rector, Dr. Danjuma Ismail.

According to Dr. Ismail, the partnership will not only improve safety and efficiency in the aviation sector but also pave the way for joint development of initiatives and sharing of expertise.

As part of the partnership, NCAT plans to upgrade its infrastructure to meet training needs and is seeking NCAA’s support for the project.

The DGCA Captain Najomo, assured NCAT of its willingness to provide support and assistance where necessary, underscoring the Authority’s commitment to collaborative efforts that promote aviation development in Nigeria.

According to him, the partnership would have positive impact on the aviation industry, promoting safety, efficiency, and revenue growth.
