The National Orientation Agency (NOA) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Al-Muhajirun Humanitarian Development Association to promote child rights and improve the welfare of Almajiri and other vulnerable groups across Nigeria.
During a courtesy visit by the Association to the NOA headquarters in Abuja, the Director-General of the Agency, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, reiterated the Agency’s commitment to amplifying the voices of vulnerable citizens by conveying their needs and concerns to relevant government bodies.
Issa-Onilu emphasized that the welfare of children, widows, and other disadvantaged groups remains central to national development, stressing the need for social, economic, and psychological support to help them live with dignity and contribute meaningfully to society.
He reaffirmed that the Agency will continue to promote policies and initiatives that foster inclusivity, equity, and access to opportunities for all Nigerians, particularly those at the grassroots.
In his remarks, the Chief Liaison Officer of Al-Muhajirun, Ambassador Anas Maitamanin, praised the NOA Director-General for his leadership and commitment to advancing the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Maitamanin noted that the Association’s mission aligns with NOA’s mandate to advocate for child rights, promote peace, and raise public awareness on pressing social and humanitarian issues across the country.
