NOA, Nigerianization Network Unite to Renew Patriotism, Values for Nation Building

The Director-General of the National Orientation Agency (NOA), Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, has reaffirmed that patriotism, national values, and civic responsibility remain the backbone of Nigeria’s quest for meaningful nation building.

He stated this when he received the leadership of the Nigerianization Network at the Agency’s Headquarters in Abuja.

Mallam Issa-Onilu explained that these ideals are embedded in the Nigeria Value Charter, which promotes key attributes such as discipline, resilience, respect, tolerance, and shared responsibility.

According to him, widespread adherence to these values will help shape a stable, prosperous nation where every citizen feels valued, proud, and connected to Nigeria’s collective identity.

The DG commended the Nigerianization Network for its efforts in promoting national identity and civic consciousness, noting that its activities mirror the core mandate of NOA.

He further revealed the Agency’s readiness to partner with individuals and organisations working toward national rebirth, especially ahead of NOA’s major national flagship event slated for April 2026.

In his remarks, the National Coordinator of Nigerianization Network, Dr. Otus Dondaniels, applauded the DG for the Agency’s remarkable progress under his leadership.

He emphasised that the organisation’s philosophy—“Nigeria will rise when Nigerians discover who we are”—aligns strongly with NOA’s identity-building mission.

The visit concluded with the presentation of an award to Mallam Issa-Onilu, recognising his outstanding leadership in championing national values renewal, civic responsibility, and the strengthening of Nigerian identity.
