Obasa Celebrates Remi Tinubu at 65, Praises Impactful Legacy

Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Chief Mudashiru Obasa, has congratulated Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, OON, CON, on her 65th birthday, describing her as the “Mother of the Nation.”

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dave Agboola, Obasa lauded Mrs. Tinubu’s decades of selfless service and sacrifice, noting that her initiatives have consistently transformed lives, particularly among women, youth, and vulnerable groups.

He commended her contributions as First Lady of Lagos State, where she established the New Era Foundation, her robust record as a three-term Senator, and her present role as Nigeria’s First Lady.Obasa also described her as a pivotal supporter of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, in his mission to deliver a more prosperous Nigeria through the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Like the New Era Foundation she birthed in Lagos, Senator Tinubu is again transforming lives nationwide through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which focuses on education, empowerment, and compassionate support,” Obasa said.

He described the initiative as “significantly impactful,” emphasizing that Mrs. Tinubu’s work goes beyond policies to bring about “real, tangible change in society.”

As we celebrate Sen. Oluremi Tinubu’s contributions to nation-building, we also look forward to the future she is helping to shape, one of unity, progress, and prosperity.

History will be kind to her for her resilience, empathy, and unwavering passion for the welfare of Nigerians,” Obasa concluded.

According to him, the Renewed Hope Initiative has blossomed from local roots into a nationwide movement tackling pressing issues while rekindling faith in Nigeria’s future.
