Youths in Ojokoro council areas have been reassured of continuous inclusiveness in government activities at the council.
The council boss Mr. Hammed Idowu-Tijani made this known at the inauguration of the newly elected executives of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Ojokoro Chapter at the council secretariat in Ijaiye.
Represented by the Supervisor for Youths and Sports, Mr. Odoh Ibrahim-Samson, the council boss noted that the present administration is ready to put the youths in the right tracks.
“Check out our executives in Ojokoro LCDA, they are made up of youths, remember your age forms the largest part of our population”.
“It is therefore cvery important to note that this set is also the most active and vibrant type of people we have in Nigeria as this must not be taken for granted”.
He said the youth should not hesitate to bring matters that will aid their development to the table of the government.
The State President of the youth association Comrade Biliamin Olalekan-Oba inaugurated the newly elected officials and further urged them to rebrand the NYC.
“I was to appreciate the past executives, for the new executives, there is a very huge task ahead of you, that is rebranding and upgrading of the association”.
“Kindly note that on no account must you have factions among yourselves as this is the first stage of failure, operate as a team and God will be your guide”.
The Coordinator of the NYCN, Ojokoro Chapter, Comrade Sulaimon Azeez promised the council boss, the state executives of the NYCN and everyone present are in for better and more vibrant days ahead.
