Olabode Agoro Takes Oath as 22nd Lagos Head of Service

In a bid to boost productivity among civil servants in Lagos, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced an increment in staff car refurbishment loan from one hundred million naira to one billion naira.

Governor Sanwo-Olu made the announcement on Tuesday at the swearing-in of the twenty-second Head of Service, HOS, in the State, Mr Olabode Agoro, at the Lagos House, Alausa.

Governor who noted that public service is the wheel of good governance, urged the new HOS to build and surpass the legacies of his predecessors for Lagos public service to remain the best in the country

In his vote of assurance, the new Head of Service, Mr Agoro, promised to prioritize the welfare of civil servants as well as train and retrain them across all cadres for better service delivery to residents.

Mr Agoro replaced Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola who retired voluntarily after being appointed as the Principal Private Secretary to President Bola Tinubu.

Dignitaries at the occasion include Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat, Speaker of the State Assembly, Chief Mudashiru Obasa, House of Representatives member, Ikorodu federal constituency, Mr Babajimi Benson, cabinet members, body of Permanent Secretaries, traditional rulers and families and well wishers of the new HOS.
