The Nigeria Police Academy (POLAC), Wudil, Kano State, is set to make history as it hosts its first-ever Convocation Ceremony for Regular Courses 1 to 7, alongside the Course Night and Passing Out Parade for the 7th Regular Course.
According to a statement by the Academy’s Public Relations Officer, DSP Umar Musa Isah, the Commandant, AIG Patrick A. Atayero, announced that the events will hold from Thursday, November 20 to Saturday, November 22, 2025, at the Academy premises in Wudil, Kano State.

He noted that the ceremonies will be conducted under the visionary leadership of the 22nd Indigenous Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, whose dedication to reforms, training, and welfare continues to enhance professionalism and excellence within the Nigeria Police Force.
The statement described the forthcoming convocation as a major milestone in POLAC’s history, blending academic achievement with disciplined police training to produce officers of integrity and competence, fully equipped to serve the nation.
The Commandant extended an open invitation to families, stakeholders, and the public to join in the celebrations, describing the event as a defining moment in the Academy’s pursuit of national service and professional distinction.
POLAC reaffirmed its unwavering commitment to fostering leadership, intellectual growth, and professionalism within the Nigeria Police Force.
