Nigerian Club Bayelsa Queens will confront defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies of South Africa in the 2022 CAF Women’s Champions League billed for Morocco from 30 October to 13 November 2022.
The Bayelsa vs Mamelodi matchup on 31st of October is one of the fixtures of the tournament released by CAF today.
After playing Sundowns at the Grand Stade De Marrakech, Queens will face another group B foe in TP Mazembe on the 3rd of November before squaring off against Wadi Degla of Egypt on the 6th of next month.
Rivers Angels represented Nigeria in the maiden edition of the tournament in 2021 but failed to make it beyond the group stage.
The 2022 edition’s fixtures released by CAF indicate that the opening match will come up on the 30th of October between AS FAR FC and Simba Queens.
Semi Final games will take place on the 9th of next month, the loser’s final is to take place on the 12th while the final is fixed for the 13th of November, 2022.
