The new Director Lagos Operations of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, Mrs Bolanle Owoyemi, assumed office today with a message of unity among management and staff.
At her formal introduction to the Committee of Management of the station, Mrs Owoyemi thanked the management team for the warm reception.
She called for their cooperation to improve the station’s fortunes.
” Honestly, I am happy to be here, we are going to work together as a team, with the support of everyone here, there is a lot we can achieve together”
Handing over the helms of affairs to the new Director, the former Acting Director, Mr Isitifanus Baba, said the new Director was a hardworking colleague whose experience in marketing would be of benefit to the station.
” We are lucky to have someone like her. A tree cannot make a forest, so I enjoin all of us to work with her to make this place a success story”
Other members of the Committee of Management of FRCN Lagos Operations, while extolling the achievement of the former Acting Director, promised to work towards a greater achievement as the new Director resumes.
Mrs Owoyemi later undertook a facility tour of the Broadcasting House, Ikoyi.
