Radio One 103.5FM has celebrated the milestone achievement of its immediate past General Manager, Korede Ogunbumi, following his elevation to the National Broadcast Academy.
The station’s management team hosted a mini celebration at its premises to honour Ogunbumi’s new role and recognize his contributions during his tenure at the station.
Members of the core management team paid glowing tributes to Ogunbumi, acknowledging his leadership and impact on the growth and operations of the station.
As part of the celebration, gifts were presented to him in appreciation of his dedication and service.
Responding to the gesture, Ogunbumi expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition.
He thanked the current General Manager, Peters Abiola, as well as members of the management team for organizing the surprise event.
He described the celebration as unexpected and deeply appreciated the thoughtfulness behind it.
The event highlighted Ogunbumi’s legacy at Radio One and marked another significant step in his professional journey within Nigeria’s broadcasting industry.
