Each member of Nigeria’s Super Eagles will earn slightly above the sum of N43 million naira after qualifying for the round of 16 of the Africa Cup Of Nations AFCON 2025 in Morocco.
The money is sourced from N3 billion Naira released by the Nigerian Government for the team’s campaign in the tournament.
However the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, is still expecting more funds to cover the Super Eagles’ mounting tournament expenses.
For a chance to earn more bonuses at AFCON 2025, the Eagles will aim at beating Mozambique’s Mambas in the round of 16, scheduled for Monday 5 January 2026.
The match comes up at the Complexe Sportif de Fès where Nigeria played all their group phase games to emerge as the number one team in the standings.
Should they progress, the Nigerian Eagles will face either Algeria or Democratic Republic of Congo in the quarter-finals.
