Tinubu Tasks Nigerians To Live A Life of Sacrifice

Dodan Barracks Eid- Praying ground, Lagos where president Bola Tinubu Observed Salah prayers this morning.

President Bola Tinubu has asked Nigerians to live a life of sacrifice to God and humanity in order to have a more peaceful and developed country. 

The President said this at the Dodan Baracks Praying ground in Lagos where top  government officials  observed the Eid-Kabir prayers this morning.

President Tinubu said there could not be a desired development or success in individual lives and a nation without sacrifice.

He also urged Nigerians to always have faith in God and pray for the nation at all times.

President Tinubu advised Nigerians not to engage in the act of fanning the ember of tribalism or religious sentiments so that the nation could experience more peace and development.

On his part, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr. Obafemi Hamzat appealed to Nigerians to bear with governments considering  the current economic hardship in the country  as he was confident that the situation would get better soon. 

In a sermon, the Chief Imam of Lagos State, Sheikh Sulayman Abou-Noĺla urged Nigerians to live up to their responsibilities towards the country.

He advised Nigerians to be disciplined,  law abiding and ensure that they serve as agents of peace in their various communities. 

He however, prayed that God almighty would  grant President Bola Tinubu the strength and wisdom to lead the nation to a glorious height and appreciable level of success. 

Other dignitaries present at the Eid Prayers are National Security Adviser to the President, Malam Nuhu Ribadu,  Former Minister for Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola,  the Speaker, Lagos State Assembly, Honourable Mudashiru Obasa and  a Former APC chairman, Alhaji Tunde Balogun.
