Ultramodern Junior Secondary School Facilities Unveiled In Elemoro Community, Ibeju Lekki.

Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu has unveiled the newly constructed Elemoro Community Junior Secondary School in Elemoro Ibeju Lekki Local Government Area.

During the ceremony, Governor Sanwo-Olu described the project as a fulfilment of the promise he made over two years ago to the people of Ibeju Lekki.

The Governor who kick-started a Five Aside Match on the mini stadium built alongside the school pledged to send football kits to the young students there and reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensure that every child living in Lagos have unrestricted access to quality education.

Governor Sanwo-Olu announced that a barrack currently under construction near the school would soon be handed over to the Area J Police to further enhance security in the axis and also renewed the call against cultism and other unwholesome activities among students.

In a goodwill message, the Managing Director, Federal Housing Authority, Senator Gbenga Ashafa, who had built three blocks of classrooms in the community during his stint as the Senator representing Lagos East, said he agreed for the blocks to be pulled down to make room for the ultramodern edifice constructed by the Sanwo-Olu administration so that students in the school would be able to combine learning with sporting activities.

The Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, explained that the school was conceptualized and built by the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration and charged the entire members of the community to ensure proper usage and maintenance

The Elemoro Community Junior Secondary School is an eighteen classrooms block, comprising twelve standard classrooms, six special rooms for home economics room, Introduction to Technology room, Art/Music studio, science laboratory, Library and ICT room as well as complimentary facilities, including, a sick bay.
