Vice President meets Lagos delegates

The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo has predicted a better future for Nigeria.

Addressing APC delegates and stakeholders in Lagos ahead of the party’s presidential primary slated for this weekend, Professor Osinbajo said he is contesting the position of the President  in order to achieve a new Nigeria.

The Vice President stated that he has experience and the required skills to ensure a secured economy and to also tackle the security challenges bedeviling the country.

Professor Osinbajo urged the delegates to support his ambition with their votes.

While heralding his speech with worship songs, Prof Osinbajo appreciated the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr Obafemi Hamzat and all the delegates and representatives of different ethnic groups.

“I am home in Lagos to celebrate and thank God for all he has done and all he would do. I am not here to campaign or consult but I am here in Lagos to celebrate with my brothers and sisters.
We have just ahead of us a new Nigeria and with God, we will get to the new Nigeria. In the last 7 years, I have served Nigeria under President Muhammadu Buhari. I have also acted as president of Nigeria. The truth of the matter is that God does not make mistake.

The truth of the matter why God gave me the opportunity is because a time will come when our country will need a new leadership and the time is now.
I am sure everyone knows that if you have seven years experience, you will be better than those who do not have any experience.
By the grace of God we will achieve this aim of bringing about a new Nigeria. We can only see this new Nigeria if we are prepared to back what we are saying with our votes on Sunday” said the Vice President.
