All Roads Lead to Abuja for 2025 Annual Advertising Conference

All roads will lead to Abuja on November 12, 2025, as the Federal Capital plays host to the Annual Advertising Conference, expected to attract over 500 participants from across the country.

The three-day event, holding from Wednesday, November 12 to Friday, November 14, will bring together industry experts, academics, and stakeholders to discuss the theme: “Marketing Communications: Transforming Business and Creating Growth in Challenging Times.”

The conference will feature thought leadership sessions, exhibitions, networking, and interactive engagements designed to provide impetus for regulatory activities in the advertising and marketing communications industry.

Scholars and practitioners from across the world will exchange ideas on emerging trends and offer solutions to ensure sustainable growth in the sector.

Dignitaries from government, corporate organizations, and professional bodies will participate as speakers, guests, and panelists.

Sectoral associations including AAAN, OAAN, BON, NPAN, MIPAN, and EXMAN will play active roles, while the Director-General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria (ARCON), Dr. Olalekan Fadolapo, will join sector leaders in a hot-seat session to address industry concerns.

Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Mr. Tunji Adeyinka, confirmed that over 50 speakers will tackle topical issues such as Economic Outlook: Is There Any Sign of Growth?, Driving Business Growth in Challenging Times, and The Agency Business in Tough Times.

There will also be breakout sessions, panel discussions, and masterclasses on subjects ranging from digital marketing and tax reforms to the role of marketing communications in the survival of SMEs.

Since its debut in 2019, the conference has consistently addressed key issues shaping the profession, including digital transformation, economic pressures, and shifting consumer behavior.

The 2024 edition explored the theme, “Navigating the Shifts: Technology, Culture, and New Business Models.”

This year’s focus builds on that momentum by examining how businesses can adapt and grow despite economic headwinds.

Unveiling the 2025 theme in Lagos, Dr. Fadolapo described the conference as the industry’s largest platform for setting professional direction.

He stressed that the discourse at the annual gathering influences the wider economy.

On his part, Mr. Lanre Adisa, President of the sectoral groups, highlighted technology as the driving force behind modern business, noting that “no business today can thrive outside the digital space.”

To wrap up the conference, participants will enjoy a dinner at 7:00 p.m. and an after-party at 10:00 p.m. on the final day — a blend of serious conversations with light-hearted networking.
