Workers under the National Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) in Badagry have hailed the outgoing Chairman of Badagry Local Government, Mr. Olusegun Onilude, for his remarkable service and achievements during his eight-year tenure.
At a commendation event held at the Council Secretariat, NULGE Chairman, Comrade Paul Sapo, praised Onilude for his inclusive and transparent leadership style.
Council Manager, Mrs. Abosede Olusanya, also lauded Onilude’s commitment to unity and development, urging other leaders to emulate his example.
In his response, Mr. Onilude thanked council staff for their cooperation and encouraged them to support his successor.
He also presented long service awards and gifts to employees with over 30 years of service.
The ceremony featured gift presentations from various individuals to the outgoing chairman, whose tenure ends on July 27.
