Voting has officially opened for the 2025 edition of the Consumers Value Awards (CVA), giving Nigerians the chance to choose their most trusted brands and service providers.
Organised by BRANDXCHANGE, this year’s awards feature over 200 brands across diverse sectors — from consumer goods and fitness to, for the first time, federal government agencies nominated by the public based on service experiences.
Now in its fourth year, the CVA is themed “Beyond Prices: Consumer Trust, Digital Experience & Brand Accountability”, highlighting the growing demand for trust and transparency in today’s digital economy.
Convener Akonte Ekine said the inclusion of federal agencies marks a milestone in consumer participation.
To ensure credibility, each voter will validate their choice through a one-time password (OTP) system, allowing only one vote per email.
Unlike many industry awards, the CVA is decided solely by consumers. “Their votes serve as feedback that can drive change and reward excellence,” Ekine said. “This is about promoting consumer knowledge, accountability, and a fair marketplace.”
