Wife of the Ekiti state governor Mrs Bisi Fayemi has assured the state’s readiness to ensure successful hosting of the 34th edition of the National Festival For Arts and Culture, NAFEST.
Speaking at the Command parade heralding the 2021 NAFEST, Mrs Fayemi who described Ekiti state as a land of honour said the state is way down among states that have the needed resources but the indigenes are full of compassion, kindness and are people of integrity.
Mrs Fayemi commended the National Council For Arts and Culture for choosing Ekiti as the host state for NAFEST 2023.
The command parade which was held at the Ekiti state Civic and Convention Center featured drama which centered on the consequences of violence against women, state of the nation and also cultural dances of various ethnic groups.
