Excitement Galore as Nigerian British Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament Tees Off

The 2023 Nigerian British Chamber of Commerce NBCC Golf Tournament has promised huge excitement on October 20 in Lagos.

Speaking at the press briefing heralding the championship, the Chairman of the NBCC Golf Committee Mr Uwamai Igein explained that Governor Babajide Sanwolu of Lagos State is expected as a Special Guest of Honour at the tournament which tees off at 7 o’clock in the morning.

According to the chairman plans are in the pipeline to take the tournament round the nation in order to spread the gospel of corporate golf participation.

21 clubs, comprising men and women, are expected to participate in the private amateur competition slated for the Ikeja Golf Club.

Huge interest in registration from clubs in the build up to this year’s NBCC golf tourney has provided insights into the competitiveness of the event.

Consequently, defending champions Yoke Solutions will have to be at their best to retain the crown they won at Ikoyi Golf Club, Lagos.

Winners in this year’s edition will receive a return flight ticket to the United Kingdom while 2nd and third placed clubs are entitled to a two night stay at luxury hotels in Lagos.

The golf event which is one of the numerous activities of the NBCC is geared towards promotion of trade, business, networking and commerce among participants.
