The Sector Commander of the Ogun State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Corps Commander O. Ogunjobi, has carried out a familiarisation tour of Corridor 6 covering the Sagamu-Ijebu Ode-Ore-Benin route to assess ongoing road construction projects and strengthen traffic management efforts.

The visit, which took place on May 15, 2026, aligns with the 2026 corporate strategic goals of the FRSC aimed at reducing road traffic crash fatalities and injuries by 10 percent through improved interventions and stakeholder collaboration.
During the inspection tour, the Sector Commander monitored traffic situations along the Sagamu Interchange to Ijebu Ode axis, where he interacted with operational teams and commanding officers stationed across the corridor.

He later visited CBC Global Construction, the company handling the ongoing road project along the route.
Ogunjobi commended the company for the progress recorded so far and urged management to install additional road signages and provide guardrails at the Ososa Triple Bridge to enhance safety for motorists.

The FRSC boss also appealed for continued support from the construction company towards improving road safety and service delivery across the corridor.
Responding on behalf of the company, Project Supervisor, Engineer Adebajo, assured the FRSC of the company’s commitment to supporting the Corps in achieving its road safety objectives.
Photographs were also taken during the inspection visit.
