GOVERNOR BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU CAST HIS VOTE

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has again sued for Peaceful coexistence among all tribes in the state to ensure a violence-free election.

Governor Sanwo-Olu made the call shortly after casting his vote at exactly eighteen minutes after ten o’clock in the morning at polling unit 006 ward E3 within St Stephen Primary School Adeniji Adele road on Lagos Island.

He noted that the beauty of Democracy is to have diverse views and choices, hence the need for everyone to vote for candidates of their choice in the overall interest of peace and progress in the state.

The Governor who appealed to youths to shun unruly protest and intimidation urged members of the public to report any security threat in their area to the nearest police station.

Our Correspondent Yemisi Dada reports that there was a large turnout of the electorate today at the school premises compared to the presidential election three weeks ago.
