Lagos Assembly Passes VAT and Anti-Open Grazing Bills
The Lagos State Assembly has passed the State’s Value Added Tax (VAT) bill.
The House also passed the bill that prohibits open cattle grazing in the state.
The Speaker, Chief Mudashiru Obasa directed the Acting Clerk of the House, Mr. Olalekan Onafeko, to transmit clean copies to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for assent.
The two bills were passed after unanimous votes by the lawmakers at the sitting where the legislations were read the third time.
Immediately after their passage, Chief Obasa commended his colleagues for their passion for the growth of the state.
