In Ije Market, traders were seen cleaning their stalls, while at Dodan Barracks, youths played football and street vendors displayed their goods, turning the area into a mix of civic and commercial activity.
Elderly citizens were seen engaged in lively debates on the significance of the local government elections.

Ikorodu Update: Materials Arrive but Voting Yet to StartIn Ward A, Power Line area of Ikorodu, election materials arrived at polling units 020 to 023, but as of 9:23 a.m., voting had not yet commenced.
Ad-hoc staff at the units said they were waiting for party agents to provide chairs before starting accreditation and voting.
According to our correspondent Yemisi Dada, the ballot papers in circulation display the logos of four political parties: All Progressives Congress (APC), People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Labour Party (LP), Allied Peoples Movement (APM)
