Lagos is set to host the West Africa Infrastructure Expo and the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVACR) Summit in April 2026, with a focus on driving infrastructural growth and promoting sustainable economic development.
The two summits will address parallel priorities: large-scale infrastructure projects and the adoption of energy-efficient technologies in Nigeria and the wider West African region.
Convener of the events, Mr. Matt Denton, explained that discussions would spotlight urbanization and climate challenges while exploring solutions to reshape the future of West Africa, with Nigeria as a central focus.
He noted that HVACR Nigeria would showcase innovative energy-efficient technologies designed to improve air quality and enhance energy performance in both urban and industrial developments.
The platform will connect global solution providers with local businesses and government leaders.
Denton added that the West Africa Infrastructure Expo would bring together stakeholders across sectors such as urban connectivity, smart cities, power infrastructure, communications, and water and waste management—aimed at ensuring safe and accessible potable water for residents of Lagos and across Nigeria.
Highlighting energy-efficient solutions that enhance air quality, preserve goods and improve performance, the event connects international providers with local opportunities, complementing infrastructure expansion and supporting Nigeria’s climate and sustainability priorities.
Co-located with West Africa Infrastructure Expo, the event will take place from 7-9 April 2026 at Landmark Centre in Lagos.
