LWC Test runs Newly Rehabilitated Iju-Adiyan Waterworks

Lagos Water Corporation has begun the test running of the Iju and Adiyan Waterworks following the completion of rehabilitation works carried out on them by the Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu administration.

In a statement, LWC explains that as a result, some areas are likely to begin to experience huge leakages due to increase in pressure, while areas that have not received water supply in a longtime will be supplied.

Following this development, the Corporation has launched dedicated numbers to report areas or communities in the State that are experiencing availability of water, burst pipes, leakages and any act of vandalism.

The Corporation also urged residents to call its dedicated numbers to make complaints, comments and inquiries on Water and other related issues as experienced and committed members of staff are at alert to respond to any leaks, burst, queries or inquiries.

It thanked all its esteemed customers for their continuous patience, understanding, cooperation and support, particularly, during the period of water scarcity, and assured them of improved and sustained service delivery.

Located in the north-western part of the state, Adiyan water works has a 70 million gallons production capacity per day and was conceived to further boost water production and supply

The waterworks project was initiated by the Babatunde Fashola’s administration in 2013 to provide safe drinking water to the teeming residents of Lagos State
