Mandy Kiss Retracts Controversial ‘100 Men’ Record Attempt After Public Outrage

A now popular Nigerian content creator, Ayomiposi Oluwadahunsi, better known as Mandy Kiss, has publicly withdrawn her controversial plan to attempt a Guinness World Record by reportedly having sex with 100 men in 24 hours.

‎The skit maker, who had announced the proposed event on social media for October 30 in Ikorodu, Lagos, said in a fresh post on Tuesday that the scheme was never real but a hoax aimed at boosting online engagement.

‎Her announcement had sparked nationwide criticism, with the Guinness World Records organisation issuing a statement dissociating itself from the attempt, stressing: This is not a record we monitor.”

‎The backlash intensified after the Eselu of Iselu Kingdom in Ogun State, Oba Akintunde Akinyemi, petitioned the Lagos State Government to arrest Mandy Kiss over what he described as a “disgraceful and dangerous” proposal. The monarch also called for her to undergo a drug test and psychiatric evaluation, warning that the stunt posed moral risks to Nigerian youths.

‎In her retraction, Mandy Kiss pleaded for understanding, insisting she had no intention of carrying out the act.

“Please have mercy on me Nigerians. I cannot sleep with 100 men. It was just bragging. I can never do that. I will die if I try it. I cannot even sleep with three men and survive it,” she wrote on Instagram.

‎The skit maker further appealed to the authorities not to arrest her, explaining that the controversial post was only an attempt to “catch cruise” and revive her online relevance.

‎Her withdrawal has sparked fresh debate over the influence of social media stunts on Nigerian youths and the need for stronger regulatory measures to curb harmful online trends.
