Nigeria is back to winning ways at the ongoing Kwibuka Women’s International Cricket tournament in Rwanda.
The Female Yellow Greens beat their Kenyan opponents earlier today for the second time by 22 runs in the 2nd phase of the round robin competition
Peculiar Agboya of Nigeria emerged Most Valuable Player MVP of the match.
This is Greens’ 4th win in the tourney following victories over Rwanda, Kenya and Botswana.
Nigeria had lost to tournament’s best ranked nation Uganda on Monday.
The Ugandans also defeated Botswana today by six wickets to remain number one in the standings ahead of Nigeria in 2nd.
Today’s win could inspire Nigeria to another victory against hosts Rwanda for the second time later this afternoon.
