Nigeria’s Uche Christantus Arrives in London Ahead of £17.3m Crystal Palace Move

The highly regarded Getafe’s Nigeria forward Christantus Uche appears to have completed a transfer to Premier League side Crystal Palace, According to reports in England, the two clubs have reached a wide agreement on a cost that is estimated to be more than £17.3 million (€20 million).

The Owerri born Uche was courted by other Premier League teams, including Aston Villa and Sunderland.

The 22 year old Uche is at Places’ training facility in London where he is expected to undergo his medical.

Many clubs in England and Europe were interested in the Nigerian forward, but Palace has prioritized his transfer in an attempt to replace Eberechi Eze, who moved to Arsenal.

As a forward with versatility, Uche can play anywhere in the front three or even a little deeper in an offensive midfield role.
