Olu of Oregun Urges Muslims to Sustain Ramadan Virtues Beyond Eid-El-Fitr

As Muslim faithful celebrate Eid-El-Fitr, the Olu of Oregun, Oba (Dr) Olukunmi Olusesan Akingbola, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslims in Lagos and beyond, urging them to carry forward the values of discipline, patience, and civic responsibility cultivated during Ramadan.”

In a goodwill message marking the occasion, Oba Akingbola commended the Muslim Ummah for their spiritual devotion, resilience and moral uprightness throughout the fasting period.

He emphasised that these commendable qualities should not end with the season but should be reflected in daily conduct, particularly in maintaining orderliness.

The Olu of Oregun also prayed for peace, stability, and progress in Nigeria, urging Muslims to continue praying for the nation’s unity and development.

He reminded the faithful that the true spirit of Ramadan and Eid El-Fitr is one of compassion, forgiveness, and community bonding.

In his message, Oba Akingbola encouraged Muslims to emulate the noble example of Prophet Muhammad in their daily lives, promoting kindness, tolerance, and understanding.
