President Buhari condoles Senator Na’Allah, appeals to Nigerians to assist security agencies with intelligence information
President Muhammadu Buhari has stressed the need for Nigerians to provide security agencies with intelligence information to enable them track down and bring terrorist gangs to justice.
In a statement by the Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, the President emphasises that human intelligence is essential to the efforts to defeat criminals.
President Buhari warns that those who work as informants for criminals are destroying their own communities for the sake of pitiful financial gratification.
Expressing sorrow over the killing of Senator Bala Na’Allah’s son, Captain Abdulkareem, in Kaduna, the President reassured Nigerians that his commitment to protect the lives and property of Nigeria remained unwavering.
The President prays Almighty Allah to repose the soul of Abdulkareem and give Senator Bala Na’Allah and his family, as well as their friends the strength to bear their loss.
