Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has inaugurated Renewed Hope Ambassadors across all 20 Local Government Areas in Lagos State, reinforcing grassroots implementation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Among the appointees is the Executive Chairman of Yaba Local Council Development Area, Hon. Dr. Bayo Adefuye, who will serve as Renewed Hope Ambassador for Lagos Mainland.
His appointment reflects recognition of his leadership record, commitment to community advancement, and delivery-focused governance within Yaba LCDA.
The inauguration ceremony, held in Ikeja, underscores the state government’s strategic focus on strengthening grassroots structures, improving policy coordination, and ensuring that federal and state initiatives translate into measurable community impact.
Director General and Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, who also serves as Lagos State Renewed Hope Ambassador, emphasized collaboration, structured coordination, and execution efficiency as critical pillars for achieving developmental objectives across all LGAs.
Operational vehicles were presented to the ambassadors to enhance mobility and support outreach activities statewide.
The initiative is designed to deepen citizen engagement, strengthen accountability frameworks, and accelerate progress in key focus areas including poverty reduction, inclusive governance, and sustainable development.
Dr. Adefuye’s appointment further highlights the continued implementation of the Yaba Tun Tun Agenda, which prioritizes infrastructural expansion, community-centered programs, and responsive service delivery.
Through structured planning and consistent engagement, the administration continues to build public trust and reinforce transparent local governance.
