Thousands of APC Supporters in Lagos staged peaceful walk for Asiwaju Tinubu

Thousands of supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have embarked on a Solidarity Walk in support of the Presidential Candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate Kashim Shettima.

The five Million man Rally was organised by the Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages Management, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya popularly known as MC Oluomo in collaboration with Team Lagos Nigeria, to support the re-election of Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwoolu.

The APC supporters across the metropolis defied the early downpour and converged on the entrance of Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere as early as seven o’clock in the morning.

The five Million man Rally was terminated at Bolade Oshodi with fun fare.

Addressing the supporters, Alhaji Akinsanya said the walk became imperative to demonstrate the massive support for the Presidential aspiration of Asiwaju Tinubu.

Alhaji Akinsanya said the former Lagos State Governor who laid the foundation for the progressive development of the state is capable of replicating such at the Federal level if given the opportunity.

While addressing thousands of supporters, the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos State, Pastor Conlenus Ojelabi who commended party’s supporters for trooping out enmass to show support for Asiwaju Tinubu, said the only way to make the aspiration of Asiwaju Tinubu come through is the effective use of their PVC on election day.

He said that Asiwaju Tinubu has the experience to replicate the development witnessed in Lagos across the country if elected as president come 2023.

In a remark, The APC supporting Groups in Surulere, Waheed Seriki said Asiwaju Tinubu is well prepared to change the narrative of the challenges facing the nation if elected in 2023.

According to him, some areas that should enjoy priority of the incoming administration include insecurity, power generation and employment creation.

Eighteen political parties have presented candidates for next years Presidential Election expected to hold on February 25th, 2023.
