Unity Attracts God’s Blessings, Oluremi Tinubu Tells Nigerians

The First Lady of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has urged Nigerians to embrace peaceful coexistence, stressing that unity is a divine prerequisite for national prosperity.

Speaking in Kaduna during the Annual Distribution of Food Items to the Christian Northern Nigeria Political Forum (CNNPF) for Christmas and New Year celebrations, the First Lady referenced the Holy Bible, noting that God commands His blessings where people live together in unity.

Senator Tinubu expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, stating that despite prevailing global and local challenges, current developments would ultimately work for the good of the nation.

She commended the Kaduna State Government for deliberate efforts aimed at fostering religious harmony, urging other states to adopt similar approaches to strengthen national cohesion.

“I want to call on all Nigerians to live in peace with one another and be our brothers’ keepers.

True nation-building is only possible where peace and harmony prevail.

God, in His wisdom, placed us together for a purpose, not for conflict or division,” she said.

The First Lady also applauded Nigeria’s creative industry for projecting the country positively on the global stage, encouraging entertainers and creatives to collaborate with the government to support national development.

“Our stars should please come and join us in building this nation.

I am available if they want to partner with me,” she added.

In his remarks, Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, described President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the First Lady as leaders driven by service, compassion, and national unity, noting that their commitment continues to inspire confidence and strengthen social cohesion.

Similarly, Benue State Governor, Rev. Father Hyacinth Alia, said Kaduna State is experiencing improved peace due to the governor’s determination and leadership, inspired by the example of President Tinubu.

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, assured Nigerians that ongoing initiatives and programmes of the APC-led Federal and State governments would usher in a better 2026.

The National Coordinator of the CNNPF, Ibrahim Itodo, commended President Tinubu for sustaining Nigeria’s unity and offered prayers for his successful re-election in 2027.

He also called on Northern governors to emulate Kaduna State’s peace-building strategies.

The annual food distribution programme, a collaboration between the Office of the First Lady and the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Political and Other Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, benefited over 48,000 people across 19 Northern states.
