Nigeria’s senior women cricket team the Yellow Greens suffered their 3rd loss today in the Kwibuka T20i tournament in Rwanda.
The Greens shockingly lost by 23 runs to their Botswanan counterparts in match 17 of the competition.
The Nigerian team had slumped to the host nation Rwanda by 9-wickets yesterday and will need a convincing victory against tournament best ranked nation Uganda tomorrow to cement their 2nd position in the standings.
The final of the round robin competition between the top two countries in the table comes up this Saturday.
