The Lagos State Special Marshal Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps has sworn in newly elected executives who will steer the affairs of the voluntary arm of the FRSC for the next two years.
The new executives, elected and inaugurated, succeeds the outgoing leadership, led by Mr Olusegun Olaitan.
The Special Marshals, a voluntary wing of the FRSC, comprise individuals who dedicate their personal resources and time to promoting road safety nationwide, primarily through advocacy and public education.
Among those inaugurated are Mr Olabisi Dennis, who emerged as the new State Coordinator, while Mr Tokulah Joseph will assist as Deputy State Coordinator, and Ms Joann Otaru as the State Secretary, with Mr Ezekiel Ojabulu serving as her assistant, among others.
During the swearing-in ceremony, the Lagos State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Corps Commander Kehinde Hamzat, reiterated the importance of safety as the core mission of the organisation.
Mr Hamzat also advised the new executive members to uphold the mandates of the FRSC and conduct themselves with discipline and integrity.
